Lauren Bush is granddaughter of former United States president, George H.W. Bush, and the niece of George W. Bush, who also served as president. She is also a model and designer noted for her philanthropic endeavors.
Lauren was born in Texas and attended the Kinkaid School of Houston. She would go on to study at Parsons: The New School for Design and Central St. Martins College of Art and Design in New York City and London, respectively. In 2006, she graduated from Princeton University with a degree in Anthropology.
From an early age, Lauren has involved herself in the fashion world. Not only is she signed with Elite Model Management and has graced the covers of Vogue and Vanity Fair, she has also interned for Zac Posen alongside fellow designer, Ashley Olsen. In 2008, she relaunched her fashion line under new name \"Lauren Pierce\" in honor of her grandmother\'s maiden name, and brother\'s first name.
In 2005, Lauren collaborated with The World Food Program and traveled to Chad as student ambassador. She continues to fight against world hunger with the United Nations through her own FEED Projects.
