- On Monday, July 27th, 2009 Jane Lerman of L.E.R. Public Relations and Nadia Digilov of Celebrating in Style joined forces to produce a night of Vegas-style fun at the Hudson Terrace in NYC to benefit the campaign of NYC Comptroller candidate Sal Ejaz. Guests enjoyed champagne to beat the Monday Blues and spent the night playing poker, blackjack, dancing and mingling.
In addition to Sal Ejaz and his family, a number of reality stars came to support the campaign including 3 Real World cast members (Scott and Sarah from Real World Brooklyn; Joey from Real World Cancun), as well as Kimberly Leemans from America's Next Top Model and alumni from Project Runway. The stars of reality TV along with event guests were there to not only have a good time and try their luck at the game tables (with prizes sponsored by Tri-State Limo, grand prize being a Limo with driver for one weekend), but also to demostrate the reality of how important elections are on a local level. Sal Ejaz and his family chatted with the crowd and listened to concerns that may exist regarding NYC budget and how Mr. Ejaz will be able to help if elected.
