- The Elisa Monte Dance Junior Board was founded in 2007 as a subcommittee to the Executive Board, and hosts an array of exclusive events each year geared towards 20 & 30 year olds. Through this new initiative, Elisa Monte Dance and the Junior Board are excited to introduce a new generation to Elisa Monte and her work.
This year's Junior Gala on January 23, 2009 included a performance at The Joyce Theater followed by an after party at Marquee. The event was sponsored by Brooklyn Brewery and Bastianich Winery, with dj DL spinning.
